Thanked: 6New 1/4 hollow razor
Hey guys,
Been a few years since i was on this forum regularly.
I've been using all vintage razors for years but the hone wear is making honing difficult for me. Didn't realise this until I taped one of them and got a decent edge. Then when I asked someone who hones for me (Gary Haywood - not sure if he still uses this forum) about new razors, he recommended a Ralf Aust so just received this in the post the other day:
Absolutely awesome shave and razor. Had never heard of Ralf Aust before this, but would highly recommend to any new SR shaver.
However, my favourite razor has always been a vintage Joseph Rodgers and I think it's a 1/4 hollow grind:

But it has heavy and slightly uneven hone wear, not visible on those photos, so just wondering could anyone recommend where I could pick up a new 1/4 hollow razor? Ralf Aust only makes full hollow. Would like a new 1/4 hollow to go along with the new Ralf Aust. I don't know many manufacturers of razors (I'm in the UK) apart from the usual Dovo, Boker, TI.
Is it my imagination or are there not many 1/4 hollows about?
Thanks in advance for any help.
