    Default Jolly Rodgers

My newest edition that is on its way to me. Needs some work, but I couldn't resist it's charms. Along the spine: "Crown GR (so 1820-1830) J. Rodgers & Sons Old English Razor". It appears to be blued on the spine and tang with the lettering in gold...we'll see when it shows up.

    Cheers fellas
    Ryan

Couldn't upload the photo for some reason...so you get an eBay link:

Recently acquired this little item and thought here would be a good place to post my first Joseph Rodgers. Nothing has been done to itexcept it's been honed up for use.

Just got this back today and can't wait to shave with it.

I'm already looking for other JR razors, I have to say, I think I prefer a firmer blade (wedge over hollow). Just seems better for me.

Nice, looks like genuine ivory too, with a nice yellow patina.

The initial listing said "no bone," yet the materials and scales are all original. They can't be plastic, right? Too early?
