Thanked: 101Over the weekend I picked up an old 7/8 Jolly Roger's Wedge for cheap. The blade is in fair condition but the edge sux. This wedge was made before the "Made in England" days & has black horn scales. one is broke & badly repaired. The other is in good shape The end of the the scales have a metal tip with two very small pins. The razor has a big smiley face top & bottom & yes pictures should be here this week sometime. Honeing this big hunk of steel is so far not successful. I love the feel of the blade & hope to make new scales & get it in using shape soon. Any advice would help.

That's a nice set. I just picked up a couple of JRs that look very similar. The difference being that instead of No. 2 the etching on the blades says No. 1. Anyone know the difference? In any case, they are off to be cleaned up and restored so hopefully I should be about to post some nice pictures soon enough...these are my first restored vintage razors.

Any of you seen a grind like this? By all appearances it was done intentionally.
