    Default 15/16 in Faux Tortoise

This razor was recently added to the Workshop gallery, but I thought it might fit in here. If it doesn't then please delete it. I can't wait to shave with it!

I don't know if this on-line resource regarding the history of the firm Rodgers has been published before in SRP. I found it in the web and hope you can find it interesting.

    Best regards

    Default Here's My Rodgers

This has become my favorite shaver. It is original and from the mid/late 1800's. Don't ask me what that thing is in the pics, these are from RayG's ad -->Tod

There was also a John Giraud who was promoted as Rector of the St. Saviour's church in Guernsey in 1874. His son (also John) graduated from Elizabeth's college there in 1875. Maybe daddy gave a nice speech?

Just picked up a 6/8 with blade etching that reads "Dutch Hollow Ground". The good news is I gave 15.00 for it, the bad news is that it appears the blade has been ground into an exaggerated spike. Will post pics as soon as I can get some made.

Not the best pic, was in a hurry to get it made before the rain hit, but here's the Joseph Rodgers & Sons that I picked up yesterday for a whopping 15 dollars.
