Here's my 7/8 Jolly Rodgers with a new set of scales from Traveller. One of my top 3 shavers.

I don't have a picture either my JR is my ugliest razor, its scales are cracked and past polishing, but I am unwilling to take this razor out of the rotation lang enough to either buy or build another set more fitting for such a fine shaver.

J Rogers Wedge
This is one that I've restored lately. It is an heirloom for a client. It is such a nice razor I thought should be listed in this archive.

Thanked: 1587Beautiful Ken, just beautiful!
If you had to hazard a guess, what would you say that scale material is?

Thanked: 10Joseph Rodgers 7 day set of 1875
The most beautifull J. Rodgers razors that I have.
Saturday and Sunday are with hard rubber and not ivory scales.
I like that the razors are dated.

I have just stumbled upon this club and seeing as I have a few JR's I'll let you guys have a look.
This one is being brought back to life the Ivory scales are cracked so will be rescaled in blonde horn I'll post the pic's when I get it back.
These 2 are waiting restoration. They have bone scales I'm planning on having the rescaled with camel bone because the marks and stains will not polish out.

Thanked: 0The celebrated
These are some interesting razors.
I have a "Jolly Rodger", that is marked The Celebrated on the blade. I believe it is from about 1850-1870, but could be off. I know that it has been in the family since at least 1900. Any information would be very helpful in dating it.
