Thanked: 15115/16 in Faux Tortoise
This razor was recently added to the Workshop gallery, but I thought it might fit in here. If it doesn't then please delete it. I can't wait to shave with it!

I don't know if this on-line resource regarding the history of the firm Rodgers has been published before in SRP. I found it in the web and hope you can find it interesting.
Best regards

Here's My Rodgers
This has become my favorite shaver. It is original and from the mid/late 1800's. Don't ask me what that thing is in the pics, these are from RayG's ad

Thanked: 235Here is my JR
This is my JR. The odd one out is the scales it had before. They were a beautiful pair of buffalo horn that would have polished up nicely. But they also had a big crack in them. Some time in the future when my restoration skills are good enough I want to try making a few sets of buffalo horn scales.
At the moment this razor is out being honed. I can't wait to get it back and play with it.

Haven't seen another one like mine out there yet so I thought I'd share.
It's a bear to hone but I love the look and feel of it.

Not going to end up keeping this one. I love the looks, but the tang feels a little funny to me.
