    I have a Wolstenholm that predates c-mon, in c-mon scales. Sometimes people used what was convenient. They do look off for sure.

    Yeah, especially since it's not even the same manufacturer as the blade. They also left the support pin out and the pivot bolster is not attached properly. Maybe it's an AMC. Remember what they used to say AMC was an abbreviation for: all manufacturers combined.

    I think most of us have cobbed together a Franken Blade in our life. I have a nice WB FBU that may end up getting a nice set of scales from a fine restorer from Akron, or it could end up wearing a pair that were removed from some other project.

    A Henkels with a broken blade + a Duck with broken scales = this. Old school barbers didn't nerd out on razors the way that we do. These are tools and it looks like it's been made functional.
