Thanks Roy-I don't know if any Aussie roo exporter is better than any other. I've only dealt with the one I mentioned above, who of course has all the required documentation. They are indeed very strict about it.
As for the hide I brought back, I had no issue getting a full hide past exhausted customs officers late on a slow night coming back into the US (but then again I don't even recall them opening up for a look).There are many roads to sharp.

And to explain my sudden presence, I've taken a personal day tomorrow. In fact, I'm trying to finish up a gorgeous NOS Herder 76 that promises to be a real looker-we'll see how it comes together.

Interesting that Bouschie just listed and sold one that had apparently been a wedge and re-ground with a very similar shape to the Wade and Butcher I posted this thread about. Timing is a funny thing isn't it?
