Okay Lynn, quantitatively, what does this mean?? Would you say the original PT forgings are better shavers than, say, the soon to be released Silverwing you've been testing?? It's cool! It's historic! And I'm all behind that but strictly as a shaver....? I have a TI and I love it. It's a great shaver, even at my skill level. And I am definately buying another but should it be (at any cost, while they are still available) a PT forged one?? Or will another TI shave just as well??

(disclaimer - and yes, I realize honing, stropping, angle, prep... let's just say overall technique make a huge difference in the quality of the shave - I'm just asking you opinion of the razor itself)

I have two of these in my collection. I enjoy the way TI razors shave and a few are exceptional including these. They all have been really nice shavers including the new one. If you gots ta has this, then you gots ta has it......
