2 historic TI's for sale
Got this link from B & B:
http://rasurpur.de/rasurpurshop/them...id=44&source=1
Site in German, I am willing to help with translation.
They mention having two historical TI's in stock! Will be shipped in 24 hours they say.
Just noticed that further down there's an English translation of some of it.Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr.

Yep, look good but at slightly less than $800 it's certainly not an easy purchase.

True, but OTOH these might be the last available new from a retailer. Some might even consider them to be an investment.

Thanked: 1Ahh an investment yes. I would consider the purchase of one of these an investment.
However, I also consider it 800-more-dollars-than-I-presently-have, which may be the point Jfala was getting at.
On a more practical note though, these TI Pierre Thiers Limited Edition are commonly referred to as TIPTLE no? How long have they been for sale, in general?
Only 450, original blanks created in 1884, that's a pretty special group of razors.

These are supposed to be hand forged, hand hammered etc bij Pierre Thiers himself. Apparently he left a legacy of 450 blanks that have almost sold out.
