Thanked: 4942I think when Classic had them they were $429. I used $1.38 and came up with $550 on the Euro conversion.
They are really great shavers in any case.

the easiest way to convert currencies is to Google it. For example:
"399 eur to usd"
and you will get:
"399 Euros = 538.4904 U.S. dollars"

Okay Lynn, quantitatively, what does this mean?? Would you say the original PT forgings are better shavers than, say, the soon to be released Silverwing you've been testing?? It's cool! It's historic! And I'm all behind that but strictly as a shaver....? I have a TI and I love it. It's a great shaver, even at my skill level. And I am definately buying another but should it be (at any cost, while they are still available) a PT forged one?? Or will another TI shave just as well??
Thanks!
Ken
(disclaimer - and yes, I realize honing, stropping, angle, prep... let's just say overall technique make a huge difference in the quality of the shave - I'm just asking you opinion of the razor itself)

Thanked: 0If anyone's still interested in having one of these, the site dick.biz still seems to have them at a bargain price of 335 euros without MwSt (VAT).
For those who don't speak German you need to click on the link messer(knives) at the top of the page and then click the category rasiermesser. Here you'll find the Pierre Thiers razor and others to include a neat Japanese style straight.
