Thanked: 3226I have only one Revisor straight razor bought a few years ago. It shaves and holds an edge as good as any other razor I have.
Theirs Issard also makes 7 day razor sets such as this one. https://www.fendrihan.com/products/t...straight-razor
Actual 7 day sets are expensive, new or vintage. Probably the most economical way to get one for barbers use is to get a deal on the purchase of 7 ew 5/8 straight razors of the identical model from a seller.

Thanked: 81I bought a Revisor a couple of years ago (this one: https://www.revisor-solingen.de/inde...es-0001-detail). The shop had been down for a couple months due to health issues, so I had to wait a bit until they were back up and running before making the purchase, but the correspondence was always good. It took a while to get a decent edge on the razor - I had to send it to 3 different honemeisters before getting something I liked (this was before I was able to hone decently myself), and it wasn't until it went to GSSIXGUN's shop that it was honed properly. Since then, it's been a fantastic shaver, so now I'm happy with it, but it took a while to get to that point.
I should add that this is the only modern production razor that I own, everything else in my collection is vintage.
So this isn't a glowing endorsement, by ay means. But overall I'm happy with my purchase.

I probably should have contacted them but I didn't, and it has been a lot of years since I bought them.
I would still do business with them, I will just be more careful next time. One razor is mediocre and one I don't like at all.
