Thanked: 6Stub Tail Identification
I recently got this razor set and I'm looking for identification mark and maker.
A first suggestion given was "Pistol-L" trademark used by Broomhead but its seems quite different in shape
Anyone have some idea?
Thanks in advance

Marvelous set ! The brush itself is amazing.
The razor is IMO english, around 1760-1790, with a very nice set of decorated tortoise scales. You can usually see some of these razors in 7-day set with hone, comb, in huge shagreen boxes. :-)

You should ask Voidmonster or Scienceguy, they probably will tell you a lot more about the razor / maker, and should be able to give you a more precise datation.Thaeris - Florent - Aux Rasoirs Normands

Thanked: 154This set is just STUNNING !
Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.
