Thomas Jeffersons razor
Got to visit Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home in Virginia) and got to see some artifacts including his razor (so they say). He died in 1826 but the razor looked newer than that to me (especially the tail). They won't let you take pictures in there but the guide let me take a picture of the item in a catalog they keep there of the artifacts.(which didn't come out very well.) It is a frame back with ivory scales of a unknown maker. It does describe a mark of "four hearts touching at the points". The guide said if i can find out anything about it to let them know as they are always looking for info.
Here it is.
