Spent today messing about with razors ..
The star of the show was that little wedge probably under 5/8ths i haven't measured it yet.
One of the scales was warped so i set it in hot water and eventually clamped it. It had a number 5 on the Tang/Spine so i guess it was from a set.

The Solingen didn't make it i'm afraid, we had an accident or that's what i'm calling it (Don't tell Tathra11)

I took the scales off that worn out Hyane blade and gave them a clean n spray. I might donate them to a Keen Kutter i have or a Klas Tornblom..

All done on the grinder belts 240/400/ on up to high grit Trizact belts / onto Felt belts with rouge compounds.

Today i used these scales for an American/German razor.
    Myte Hook M.I Germany
    Hunter Supply Co Toledo.O

I think Myte Hook may be a fishing hook sold by the Hunter Supply company or it could be a place?

rolodave, BobH and JOB15 like this.
Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.

Yes the blade and scales are really nice... shame it has hone wear.
I have decided to place it back into cryo stasis..
