Thanked: 7I would like arguments. For example: the shape of the tail or unusual notch, or stamp, which indicate the second half of the 19th century. In General, I wanted not only to know, but also to understand.
I, for example, read that the C cross C sign means that this razor was made from 1821 to 1856 (4) years. Isn't that so?Last edited by esveka; 01-04-2020 at 01:21 PM.

Thanked: 7The more I read, the more incomprehensible. Uniclectica says that C+C is 1821-1856. Strazors says that in 1881 the firm employed 110 people and the firm's mark was C+C. in addition, Strazors says that in 1856 the firm was renamed Joseph Elliot & son. However, I have never seen such a stamp. It is also interesting that there are stamps "J. Elliot", "Joseph Elliot" and "Joseph Elliot's". The last stamp, like on my razor. Who has the answers?
