Thanked: 174I can understand both points of view. On the one hand, when I personally buy on the fleabay, I like to be correctly informed about the pedigree of the item, and I appreciate the OP's commitment to do so. But on the other hand, this particular forum exists in order to meet like-minded individuals and to enrich our hobby - not our wallets. That's why the OP's attitude, while not against the rules, is disappointing to many nevertheless.
May be, for future sake, we should discuss a way to bridge between the two approaches, and to officially anchor it into the rules? How about the OP to state in advance the info is for selling the item? Or for him to offer it here on the forum first - before going to the bay? Any other suggestions?

I agree with Dimab.
If a seller wants the collective info of our members, then the members should get first crack at the pieceIf you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

I'd much rather buy from our BST, over the Bay. First off, the seller can be trusted a lot more, and its going to be a decent razor, least told otherwise.

He could also state his purpose and make a donation to SRP. That way the SRP community would get some benefit too.
