Default little rust splotches -- put razor away wet

I put my dovo away wet last week -- my bad--, and it has some little rusty splotches on it now.

i wiped most of them off today, but there are still soem that persist, what should I do
to nip this in the bud and clean it up?

    The razor is carbon steel.

    Thanks in advance. ad

get MAAS, Simichrome, or any other metal polish, and polish them away. And take care of your razors

CLR Metal Clear will also do the trick. I clean my razors with alcohol after every shave and wipe them down with a Kleenex. Takes me a grand total of 15-30sec.

I leave my razors open on the sink after drying them off while I get dressed in the morning. After dressing, I re-strop them wipe again with a dry towel and then put them up. No reason for the re-stropping, just habit.
