Thanked: 3227Razors marked ROMO
I have had a Heartring razor made by H Eiker & Sohne in Solingen for a good while now. It was NOS near as I could tell when I got it. I was always puzzled by it also being marked ROMO. Finally got off my lazy behind and looked on the net. I found this on the net https://iknifecollector.com/photo/image-69 . Thought it might be of interest to members having razors similarly marked. ROMO were importers not makers as sometimes stated on the net. Pease excuse the grainy enlargements.

Thanks for sharing Bob.
I have a Prior Solingen ( a Friedrich Schlemper brand) razor that only bears the Romo stamp. I only know it is a Prior Solingen from the Box.Last edited by Badgister; 03-13-2020 at 07:26 PM. Reason: Romo and not Roma

Thanked: 3227Someone else made it for them as they never made anything themselves as far as I can tell. Being only marked ROMO would be like a house brand today. Makes it difficult to find out who made thins for them. OTH if it is like their razors it should be from a quality maker.
