Wacker advice
Never tried a Wacker. Contemplating between the all-round 6/8 ( apparently closer to a 7/8 if measured from top of spine) or the 7/8 jungmeister.
The Jungmeister is 100$ more. I know it has a fancy worked spine, but is the grind really hollower than the all-round as some vendors state on the razor description?

They're definitely not the same... could be the same blank but the grind is a bit different.
Unsure if that extra money is worth it to you... Wacker has very high and uniform quality in their production line. Anything you get from them is going to be excellent.
E-mail a couple of the vendors that carry it and ask is all I can say... and while the standard vendors are all stand-up guys, just be aware it's always in their interest to up-sell you...

Wedge to full hollow I like them all, go for it. Have the Jungmeister 7/8 and would call it half hollow +. No experience with the All-Round but if you have to have full hollow you could try Chevalier, Barber's Bride or any of the anniversary razors from recent years with the 'Bismarck' shape. I think Wacker is the only current production Solignen making wedges and they're great too. Hope this helps, let us know. Edit, the Wacker website says that both razors you are considering are full hollow but for sure my Jungmeister 7/8 looks and feels a lot less hollow than the other razors I mentioned (and which I have too), go figure!

Michael, I think there have been some heavy grind jungmeisters in the past, but from what I gather the current jungmeister in 7/8 is supposed to be an extra hollow of some sorts.

I’ve had a Jungmeister for about 4 years now. Excellent shaver.
A little advice: Don't impede an 80,000 lbs. 18 wheeler tanker carrying hazardous chemicals.
