Koraat
Are they taking new orders? I submitted and inquiry with their configurator about a month ago and haven't gotten any kind of reply.

That's unusual for Ulrik. Perhaps your inquiry got lost in 'cyber space' or something like that. I've found him to be quite prompt with online correspondence. You can always send him an email or another configurator form. But do note that his website says he will be away for all of July. The razor he made for me is fantastic. I will buy another for sure. Good luck, hope you get sorted.

Yes the Same here.
I messaged on a Sunday not expecting a reply and he was back in an hour, I would send another enquiry , maybe it wasn't delivered or got overlooked.

Finally got a reply from Koraat. I sent 5 or 6 inquiries and they got back to me a few days after I sent the last one. I'm not sure what happened, but my order has been accepted Now I just have to wait...

Thanked: 7Well, that’s one of the reasons I love it so much. The scales are morse, walrus tusk. After my parents passed away, I found a serving set that they had purchased, prior to the ban. The knife was was broken. A gentleman, who I never met except through this shaving forum, offered to try to use the Morse to make scales. He finished them, told me the size blade to order for them. He made the scales and put the razor together. Every time I use it, I think about my mom and dad, and this wonderful man who was kind enough to produce this lovely piece, and refused to allow me to pay him for making it. About as kind of an act as anyone has done for me!
