Likely not over priced from the standpoint of what it costs to manufacture a razor in Western Europe today.

Yea, it's like saying when you are in the market for a new car it makes sense to buy a car a couple of years old after the depreciation has hit and the bugs have been fixed but there is that something about driving a brand new car off the lot and there's something about getting a brand spanking new razor.

Of course some will always buy the used car and the used razor cause new doesn't mean anything to them and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

If I was to try and make a living out of making razors (or knives) nobody would buy them due to the price I would have to charge. I can get paid $80-$100 per hour to write computer software, and there is no way I can make that much per hour in my shop.
