Puma green paste is very good and easy to apply. It has a lipstick like consistency.

100 grams of 100% pure Chrome Oxide, almost ¼ pound is $10 from Kramer Pigments. 10 lifetimes supply.

The Formax is not pure Chromium Oxide, it is Aluminum Oxide/ Chromium Oxide blend. It is much too harsh for a razor edge. See product details.

Most of the green polishing compounds are not Chromium Oxide, are polishing compounds for knives and tools.

The SRD compound is Chromium Oxide, I believe it was made by Hand America and rebranded by SRD. That small bottle is a life time supply. Chrome Oxide is .5 um. About 20-30k grit.

I cannot find the grit size. Do you know?

Here is a good old post from SRP on Kramer Pigments on Chrome and Iron Oxide. (Iron Oxide Powder?)

There are other older post on SRP listing part numbers for various pigments and discussion on grit size and performance.

And here is the data sheet, 2nd page under (Informative technical data (standard values) it lists, Predominant particle size, (µm) approx. 0.3.
    (44200 Chrome Oxide, opaque)

Though I have read that Chromium Oxide is .5 um at about 20-30k grit. I have never found much difference in performance between Kramer and Hand America Chromium Oxide. Those claiming to be .3 and .5um, they both work well.
