    Abalone is not that difficult I order acrylic plates which have already thin abalone Material in them. So it is like making scales from acrylic material.

    @david the screws work verry well, I’ve got the idea from my Dovo Mammut which is contructed That way. I’ve fond the screws on Ali express they are for folding knives.

    Works really wel with thick scales not zo well with thin ones

    Works really nice, you only have to drill the hole in the razor to 4mm. Drill slowly to prevent to much heat.
    Will not work on thin scales I like to have mine a bit thicker 4 to 5 m’n thick. Is more robust and I have big hands.
    With the screws you can even disassemble the knive for cleaning the washers and inside of the scales.

    First shave was great, love how the razor feels in the hand and on the skin!
    I’m verry pleased with the result taking my limited experience in account.

    the next project will be an F. Herder Abr. sohn #14. Still looking for a #25 really like that shape!
