Yea those scales are not original. Dorkos came with basic scales with the Dorko Seal in metal inlaid on the scales. I've had a few. They are all top notch shavers no matter the model.
Too bad about the bevels. It looks like they tried for a match set with the spine and razor. A little more effort and it could have been turned into a totally beveled razor if you know what I mean.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

That is too bad... Took me a second to realize that is the bevel, first glance it apeared as a small slide on edge protector.. Nope!
