Thanked: 2crack
Hello everyone,
Once again, looking for expert advice.
I received a puma razor I just bought from a member.
It has a crack that goes all the way through.
Is this something that can be repaired?
If so, can you recommend anyone?
Any idea on cost?
If it is repairable, I would like to keep it. This would be my first puma.
Thank you,
John

Thanked: 634I have a 7/8 Wade & Butcher with a crack in the same place. I placed flux on top with a tiny piece of silver solder. I use a soldering iron with a needle point on under side of the blade to draw the solder thru. Then work each side running the iron back and forth over the crack on both sides to distribute solder evenly.
The Wade & Butcher I fixed this way I have shaved with for two years with only one refresh.

I am a bit surprised a member sold it knowingly.
If he/she did not know that is another thing. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.
