    I've made clunky razors before. So I guess that I can't critique that point, but I do find brass bolsters and scale pins to be confusing. One part of my mind says that it is a razor, while the other part says that it is a pocket knife.

    There is probably some confusion at the factory on that point too. OTH German for straight razor is rasiermesse or shaving knife.
