Thanked: 2I see etched lines on my razor. What are they?
Has anyone seen these before? Something to worry about?

Which lines are you referring?
If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 3215Those lines say a lot about your future, I see a long road trip coming up. I see the coast of California and the state of New Mexico.
Just kidding, it might be Alaska!
I would be more concerned with the horizontal lines on the left, but probably just needs a good polish.
Post some pics of the whole razor.

I'd call them scratches. But as Marty said, a pic of the blade face might be better
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 2I see a bunch of them. They are more like bumps instead of pits.

Thanked: 3215Looks like rust. Scales look like plastic so probably not Cell Rot unless stored with an off-gassing razor.
You can tape the etch with a layer of Kapton, clear packing or Scotch tape, then cut around the etch to protect it. Then polish with a good metal polish and 0000 steel wool. When you get close to the tape, pull off a small piece and tape it to an eraser shaped to a point, like a chisel. Cut one with a razor blade and polish close to the tape and etch.
You can also remove the tape and with the pointed eraser and a dab of polish lightly clean between the lines of the etch.

Probably some light devils spit the seller polished almost off. Just some remnents that look not to deep and if you follow Euclids advise would come off without to much work.

Thanked: 2This one has something similar but the lines are horizontal. Is this what devils spit look like?
