You could do that if your careful. I just use tissue paper myself!

You know how you double up a tissue or cloth to wipe both sides of a lens in a pair of glasses? That's what I tend to do to dry my blade - spine toward the palm, of course. Just be careful of the edge.

basically, just wanted to know if the towel might be too abrasive, or not stiff enough to handle touching the blade and not damaging it... thanks guys! seems like in many aspects, this is actually becoming easier... for some reason i was getting the impression str8s were like trying to care for a thin piece of concave glass... gotta watch everything you do with em lol glad that is not so
