Thanked: 0Any ideas on this razor? "Diamond 'r"
Hey folks, I got this razor in a job lot on ebay. When I soaked it in vinegar it took any printing off the blade, but the shoulder appears to say "Diamond 'r" and "Made in Germany". Does anyone recognise this branding? Thanks in advance.

Not sure why your would soak in vinegar as that turn steal a dark color. Its made in germany so clean it up and give it some scales. Looks like a regrind but its got a nice shape. I cant help with the name. Sorry.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 0Hey, when I got the razor it was pretty much covered with rust. The vinegar soak just allowed the rust to brush off completely. I don't have an up to date image, but after I sanded it, the dark colour went away.

I have a script that will search for text on a web page, it only finds ‘Crown and Diamond Razor’ on the page BobH references, I don’t think that’s it.
