Thread: Sportsman brand??

Anybody know about the Sportsman brand or trademark?

I have large 13/16 model 720/1. I seached for some information about it's manufacturer and history with no luck. Maybe a Mozart or Ern? It was bought in 70's.

Does it say where it was manufactured? Country of origin is typically the best stepping off spot.

The only other thing I can think of is to ask in a German razor forum.

They have a massive catalogue of NOS Solingen razors many of which are from unknown brands.

Possibility, saw this on back of shank on a straight razor.

Has a Boker look, about it. Shoulders are ground like a Dovo.

Hmmm....I haven't found anything, either.

Probably made for some retailer somewhere in the U.S.
