Depends... do you have $100+ worth of want for them? then there is the matter of scales ... if they are ivory and you live in the us you could run afoul of the the law... in theory you can import some pre-ban ivory... as long as you can prove it... i think custommartini had a problem with getting some ivory razors from tommy through customs this spring; whereas i got a seven day set through without a problem... consider the risk

my experience with him has been that you get razors for pretty much what they are worth... he buys and sells lots of razors and rarely has any great deals (steals)

so it is up to you... personally, i would prefer to see them for 75-80$ or so

Maybe its the way the light is hitting it but it looks to me like there is alot of honing wear on both of them. They look well used. Not worth the price to me.

nullified... i didnt see the auction end date... it was like, 5 minutes after i posted this so lol nothing i could have done... BUT im learning more about what i would have considered to be a good deal, and what really IS a good deal... so, now i know a little more about what is considered to be a "worth while buy"... so, your responses helped a great deal in that respect thank you.

Doh as in a homer oops. On a serious note, it is always a good idea to look for excessive hone wear in a picture when considering whether or not to purchase a razor. Hone wear is not necessarily a deal killer because the razor can still shave well, you just should not be willing to pay as much as a similar razor without it.

i definitely don't think they were worth 100$ for both. unless, as someone stated, they have ivory handles.

figured each seperately would fetch the 25-35 dollar value on ebay...give or take a couple bucks.

you can find nice razors in very restorable condition for under 40$ on ebay. ofcourse then you have to take the time to do the restores, then hone... possibly fix scales ..etc etc which IS alot of time to compltely restore. you can just do a polish but if u want all the marks out and get them mirror shiney then it takes ALOT of work.
