    Default Sir Isaac Newton razor

I have acquired a “sir Isaac Newton” razor. It has the image etched on both the blade body and also on the tang.
I have read that these are quite rare and collectible especially where all images are still clearly visible.

The razor itself is in excellent condition but the box is not!!!

The link below is the only information I can find!

Can anyone confirm this is correct and possibly tell me what it’s worth.

    We don't do valuation.
In Facebook there was not much help.

Put some of your pics up. That will help

You will get some help here when the historians drop by.

According to Manah, "The razor was made by Friedrich Ern & Co. The company in business since 1888. Located Solingen-Weyer in 1925 and 1928, Weyerstrasse 196 in 1939. Before WWI, Fritz Bracht (the Dorp & Voos (DOVO)) studied from Friedrich Ern. Trademarks: "Commodus", "Damokles", "Doppeladler", "Ern & Cie", "Ern & Co.", "F. Ern & Co. Weyer-Solingen", "Kobold", "Newton", "Ost", "Sprock", "The Sir Isaac Newton", "Vim", "Weltbrand".

Note: Don't mix Friedrich Ern & Co. with another well-known Solingen maker - Carl Friedrich Ern."

The only thing that's rare on Ebay is a razor that's not listed as rare.

Just don't use it to shave under an apple tree.
