I mostly use it on a rag, in hand. But in combination w/steel wool for tough spots

You won't be disappointed.... although I think Mike uses a magic rag while mine is just a sock.

Thanked: 556Amazon shipment arrived and I tried out the magic paste Paul and Mike recommended. It certainly seems to do more than I was able to accomplish with Maas and Autosol.
There’s still cleanup work to do on the blade that requires the scales to come off. There are some scratches on the blade that showed up in the photo that I’d like to polish out.
I will try to work on those scales up while they’re off. They seem to be in pretty good shape and just need some colour touch up and sanding and some time in neatsfoot oil.David
