yea I tried that it don't seam to be doing much cleaning. If it wasn't for the etching I could go right to the buffer and I think this would come out like new. Now I have a dilemma.

Be patient with the 3M. It works but needs a little time. 10 minutes seems like a long time when you're buffing by hand.

you are correct about the 3M. I think a rag and a little time was good advice. I was using a paper towel and I think that was the problem

I started out with it using a red shop towel and it didn't work to my expectations. I switched to an old cotton sock and it seemed to work much better. Now if I could just get my hands on one of those magic rags that outback uses...

That magical rag also pieces together broken scale tips and doesnt leave a visible seem. He keeps those rags under lock and key though. Like the Holy Grail or the Ark of the Covenant.

It’s not the rag that’s magical, it’s the sorcerer who wields it.
