Ok, one more question for you guys .... what is a good photo repository that can be linked to?

OK, I have reached a milestone in this oiling of my razors saga.

I have now finished oiling & greasing all of the razors that I had graded as VG ( Very Good). I separated out those that need new scales or more than just simple buffing. This does not include any of the NOS, Excellent condition, Sheffields, stub tails ,or Geezers display collection.

This is a pic of the VG condition "Keepers" straight razors .... 128 of them!

Ohh no, now I will have to sub categorize my razors. I had them sorted by country of origin, but now I see that I must further divide them. Ohhh no.

When you come to visit me in Wisconsin this next spring you can look at them all day!

Well, the one category that’s not been mentioned is ‘The razors that I actually shave with’. lol.

That's a good point. I keep my regular rotation in a Barber's box on the counter next to my sink for that reason

And that doesn't have to disrupt or even be separate from your other storage. They can go in and out of it as you please.

I have always avoided keeping any razors in the bathroom, I worry about the damp so I keep them in the bedroom in a couple of draws of a jewlery box.

I have a small thing with 3 draws in it for razors that need honing/refreshing, coffin boxes and other general stuff.

Have a look at flickr, they also have a private setting I believe that will only allow you to see your photos, if that's important to you.
