OK, I have reached a milestone in this oiling of my razors saga.
I have now finished oiling & greasing all of the razors that I had graded as VG ( Very Good). I separated out those that need new scales or more than just simple buffing. This does not include any of the NOS, Excellent condition, Sheffields, stub tails ,or Geezers display collection.
This is a pic of the VG condition "Keepers" straight razors .... 128 of them!Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Thanked: 104Ohh no, now I will have to sub categorize my razors. I had them sorted by country of origin, but now I see that I must further divide them. Ohhh no.

That's a good point. I keep my regular rotation in a Barber's box on the counter next to my sink for that reason
And that doesn't have to disrupt or even be separate from your other storage. They can go in and out of it as you please.Last edited by PaulFLUS; 01-06-2022 at 09:28 AM.
