I do have totes and always wondered what I was going to do with my articulating/clamp-on lights. Now I have a good use for them.!

I use a white dish pan and line it with different colored (depending on the subject) velvety fabric under and behind then shine lights from 3 sides. Like Mike said I will also reflect light off of a sheet of white paper from in front.
