Thread: Wade and Butcher - please help to identify inscription on scales.

Could you please help to identify is the scales of W&B are original. Scales are made of horn. The inscription The Old English Razor is visible. But I do not know if Butcher used such scales with such inscriptions together with its blades. I will be very grateful for the help!

Frederick Renolds used those scales. The pics of the pins are hard to make out to tell if they are original or not. Dont know if W&B used those scales.
I think the scales say "old english razor".

I also could 'see ''the old english razor'' inscription on scales. This pushed me to think if the blade of W&B and scales are really belong to each other from the beginning. But seems like not. Could be an act of restoration.
