Help with info about Vintage Boker King Cutter
Hello Folks,
I've just purchased an old Boker King Cutter and wanted to ask for your help on three questions:
#1. It does not say "Solingen" anywhere so i wonder if this was no made in Solingen or if it was made of a steel that was not from Solingen... i know that Boker has some razors like the old 1101 that say " made of Finest India steel", which i guess means that Bokers are not always are Solingen razors.. what should i think about this king cutter?
#2. There is a thread here where the dating of this kind of King Cutters is discussed, not conclusive dating but from what I read it must be either 1900 or 1915. you can see the logo of this razor better on that thread (i can't attach a better picture it cause razor is still in the mail)... so one of the main isues I'm having with the dating is that in the pictures provided by the experts none of the different labels of the blase say only "H.Boker & Co".. so all of the other says Solingen, or tree brand, etc etc... but this one only says "H.Boker & Co"... none of the tables shows this single legend... maybe one of you guys can help.
#3. any of you guys have one of this and has shaved with it? mine is still in the mail but knowing about your experiences about the quality of the blade can help in the anxiety of the looooong waiting

thanks a lot and best regards!
