Definitely, German. But I'm not familiar with the stamp mark.

Thanked: 0"best silver steel" denotes a recipe of steel that they followed. Or the round stock was outsourced and the supplier called the round stock best silver steel and the manufacturer put it on the blade. MY guess is that the recipe is Swedish steel and the razor was made in germany. Don't quote me on that though.

Thanked: 1Yeah 100% German just not familiar with the stamp, I forgot to mention that the blade has a faint "the Hamburg ring" etched on it. Hopefully someone will chime in with the stamp details.
