Böker Manufaktur Solingen
Surfing the Boker (Germany) site, I've falled in love with The Celebrated design.
Specially with the model Mother of Pearl 2.0 ... despite It's not MOP.
But I can't find experience on.

I have seen these for sale on Griffith Shaving Goods and have been very tempted. So far I haven't hit the 'buy now' button.

In the world of guitar collecting that is referred to as "mother of toilet seat."

Thanked: 2209.
.
I find them very attractive.
The MOP model is very nice, it would be my second choice. In the first pic I like the model in the lower left hand the best.

To be clear that was not intended to say anything derogatory. That's just to say that's what guitar collectors call that peraloid. I think it's very nice also.

Thanked: 556My vintage Bokers all shave well and take excellent edges without a lot of bother. I hope they have maintained that level of quality with their new offerings.

Thanked: 1081I don't have that model but I do have the #14. All forging and grinding is carried out in house. I am very pleased with mine.

The styling is similar to the vintage ones. This one for example.
I always liked that chisel point on the toe end of the spine
I believe this one is made in the 1920s but I'm not positive.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Etchings on the Boker blades are very nice. "Bicycle Race" model is also intriguing. It would be very nice to visit their factory or factory store.
