Default The Most DANGEROUS man on SRP PaulFLUS!!!!!!

Well i FINALLY prised Pauls pride an joy (Large W&B The Celebrated Hollow Ground For Barber's Use) out of his steely grip!!! But not before he left me penniless and destitute!?! Just when i thought i was home and dry he drew me in like a pedophile does to a kid with a bag of sweets!?! He upped his game and turned on his smooth talking sales pitch, suggesting that 2 is BETTER than 1!?! Thus offering up ANOTHER Large W&B's (FBU), stating it would make a nice addition plus having a set!
No me being a typical male and totally unsupervised with no adults present! I fell for his charms!!! Sadly these shiny BEAUTIFUL trinkets come at a price!?! But that wasn't going to stop me! So a scheme was hatched, firstly i sold the 3 oldest kids to some Chinese sweat shop then put some of the wife's organs on Ebay.
Now having gained enough funds and Paul could see there was no more money to be squeezed out, as what appeared to be a sign of a guilt ridden conscience he said he would hone both razors before shipping they, so they would be shave ready!

Joking aside!....I have been in steady contact with Paul for the last couple of months, working on this deal. Knowing how much this particular razor meant to him not only for the AMAZING restoration work he has done on this but also the end result that was produced! True after the deal was agreed Paul did offer up another W&B to pair with the 1st. For me it WAS an offer too good to pass up! And after a quick chat with the Boss (my wife) i jumped at the offer!
Paul organised the shipping and even paid half (Big half) the shipping cost! The Razors very quickly arrived on UK soil and were held in customs for a little longer than normal due to the Holiday weekend. But very soon arrived at my door and like a kid at Christmas i excited to open this package. And having both of these HUGE W&B's razors out on the table in front of me, i was in awe!!! They were, are both STUNNING in beauty quality! Paul has done a phenomenal job of getting these razors restored back to their former glory! I was speechless! Seeing them in photos is one thing but seeing them and holding them is something else!?! To appreciate how old these are and the history they carry is gratifying.
Yes i have shaved with The Celebrated Hollow Ground For Barber's Use, which was a pleasurable experience better than i could have expected! Paul had as promised put some DAMN fine edges on these razors!!! They are seriously and stupidly on another level sharp!?!
Paul YOU are a GOD among men!!! Your skill and workmanship is second to none! And so is your consideration and helpfulness! I am very grateful for ALL your help and for letting go of both these fantastic razors, i will treasure the experience of how i came by W&B pair of SR's!!!
As for ALL you other guys who restore razors, THANK YOU!!! It is guys like you that lets guys like me enjoy our shaving and experience the quality of yesteryears that otherwise would be lost!?! So again THANK YOU and WELL DONE to you all!!!

    Andy

It pleases me to see how much those 2 beauties please you Andy. A thing of beauty is hard to relinquish even if it was our intention to do so.

I do think it is noteworthy, and was a motivating factor, that after who knows what travels and under whose ownership they return so close to where they were made roughly a century and three quarters ago. May they serve out another such period where they are now in your care. It was truly a pleasure to play a part in their usefulness.

Gotta rib ya a bit, Paul.
Gooduv ya to part with them. They'll definitely be cherished.

I know how ya feel.....dump hours of days into them, only to let them go.

Aaah,...It's just a razor or two. There's plenty more.

I don't even want to know exactly how many hours. I was pretty proud of how those two came out.
