    Pics would help.
    I have a few Clauss razors, and I'm not seeing any # stamps on any of them.

    An Internet search on Clauss razors may help, also.

    I can honestly vouch for their razors. Good hard steel. Takes a holding edge, and one of the Icons of American made razors.

    But my guess would be early to mid 1900s

    Me too! I have 3 Clauss razors and they are my top choices for a smooth comfortable shave.
