The razor looks very much like a Greaves I used to own. Possibly made by Greaves for Paisley??

Good point Mick. Maybe Martin Paisley was a habadashery. I have a Skinetolin razor which turns out to be an F. von Brosy-Steinberg. I searched and searched to no avail and finally criswilson identified the trademark stamp.
Skinetolin turned out to be a cosmetics company out of London that contracted the razor. Sometimes contract makers put their stamp on it even though the name stamp was the contractee's. Boker did that a lot with their tree as did Wostenholm with the pipe stamp.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Marshes & Shepard carried that grind style, as well.

Thanked: 1082We know a razor from that time period could have been made from any number of young men. It was common for factory workshops to make razors for any number of manufacturers too.
Sorry this info doesn't help much.
