Yes, I understand only the gold wash is different. I myself like the Loup et Bellier design most - so for me they are the best

Actually, while the razors are very similar, one difference I've found is some are two sides mirrored others are one side mirrored/one side satin finished. I like the mirrored finish better. It shaves the same but it seems to clean up better... To me.
IIRC, the ones from Knifecenter are mostly mirrored. Some places list them as one side mirrored (assume other side satin!).
There are OTHER TIs out there as well.... Historic forgings and such.... And you will find the occasional "updated" steels (like mine tang stamped "V").
Every one I've tried has been a reat shaver though so there really aren't any "bad" choices....
