hi people...could you tell me the shaving smoothness of ats34? comparable to a TI?

I have one of the Mastro's "Damascus" blades which consists of ATS34 folded with 440. It's the smoothest shaver I have! (Including TI, Dovo and vintage.)

I had a Maestro 7/8 in ATS34 & it was one of the smoothest shaving razors Iv'e owned,Until I discovered NOS english wedges.
These seem to suit my beard better,so much so that these & my Tosuke razors are all I use at the moment.Paul

I had 2x ATS34 Maestro Livi razors at various times. The first one was a brilliant shaver and I totally regret selling it, the second was not quite as brilliant (though still good), but that was probably down to my rather hit or miss honing at the time.

Honed right, they can be some of the nicest shavers going.
