Zwilling Razor
I noticed this Zwilling razor on Amazon.com link- http://tinyurl.com/2bmgc2
, it is sold through Amazon by Beauty.com when I e-mailed Beauty.com to ask for more specifics this is what they replied below which seems to me to be either incorrect info or a smaller then average razor if there is such a thing. Any thoughts from anyone as to if the info is correct or it is a standard size razor and is it worth the $149 asking price?
"Following up on your inquiry about the referenced item, below is the information we received from the distributor:
The blade itself is 2 1/2 inches. The total length of the steel is 4 inches. Total razor height including handle is 9 1/2 inches. All materials, parts are new. The razor is "semi hollow ground”."

The majority of my straights measure between 9 1/2 and 10 inches total length open, and the blade from heel to toe is between 2 3/4 and 3 inches! A few are a little shorter and some are longer.
I hope this helps!

$149 is cheap. In their European catalogue Zwilling's recommended retail price is the same amount in Euros, so presumably they've got them from before the dollar's skydive!
