Hi
I have a Friedrich Wilhelm Engels and says Grafrath-Solingen
#72
Its a 4/8 for sure and measures blade itself length is 3".
It's in great condition!!
Any comments!

You should do a search on the Engels razor...
"F.W. Engels was a firm owned by Emil Engels. The company ran from 1909 to
1943. They were based in New York City and imported all types of cutlery." (stolen from another member... i forget who)
they are generally well respected tools
the 72 is the manufacturers model number of that blade style
a little googling later.... "Grafrath" seems to be a town very near Solingen that like "Wald" may have been more or less absorbed by SolingenLast edited by syslight; 10-11-2007 at 12:28 AM.

I have a grafrath solingen with the name cebruder pell Is what I think it says anyone know anything about this maker
