Thanked: 9Wowza!
I didn't even know Joe made Dama - is this a first? What exactly is it, how / where is it made? Can anyone (even though I prefer Joe himself ) share more details?
Cheers
Ivo

The damascus (more appropriately, pattern welded; hereafter referred to as PW) is made by our very own Mike Blue. It's a mixture of 1095 and 15N20. Great stuff, expertly forged. Very few flaws, and those ground out. Mike's stuff has made the best shavers I've ever toyed with, bar none. Mike also does the HT, in liquid salts, I believe, which gives a very nice end result, with little danger of warping or cracking.

Joe - do you have price lists/ranges for your customs.
Are you making them in batches or one off?
Finally, are you still doing restoration/rescaling work?
Beautiful razors - my Chandler custom is a little more simple (which is what I wanted) and shaves great.

Thanked: 0Amazing! The first one is possibly the most beautiful razor I have ever seen! How much would something like that set one back?
