Thread: New TI

If one were to get a TI looking for 6/8 or bigger, what model would you recommend. Trying to keep it under 400. What is the general view on what would be popular. I dont have any TI razors and have been interested.

I have several 6/8 TIs. They're all great and you really can't go wrong with any of them but my favorite is J86 from shavecenter.

Several of us ordered these expecting (as the picture showed) it to be notch point. None of them were, they were all round. The text did say they could come either way and they could not guarantee which you'd receive but if you order one, expect it to be round.

As to "why" it's my favorite... I really can't tell you. All I can say is it shaves great every time. Maybe something about it "helps" my honing skills or lets me strop it better?? I have no idea. I love all my TIs and they all shave great but that one is my favorite.

If your budget is $400 bucks I'd wait a few weeks till the new production TI's come out.

Well.....i would rather keep it to under 300....but....didint want to exclude the Limited Edition ones
